Digital skills in higher education. The state of play in the field of European Integration Studies Call for Contributions The Jean Monnet Module Digital teaching and learning in the field of EU Integration Studies in the new member states(D-Skills) launches a call for papers for the workshop Digital skills in higher education. The state of play in the field of European Integration Studies. The event is hosted by the Department of International Studies and Contemporary History, Faculty of History and Philosophy, Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It aims to foster a forum of discussion, where academics from new, old and EU candidate states have the opportunity to exchange ideas and share best practices on teaching approaches and methods in EU Studies. Format of the workshop We welcome applications from junior and senior academics of EU Studies and Political Science, in particular on the following topics: * What digital technology policies and strategies have the universities developed to respond to the strategic policies adopted by the European Union? * What kind of policies do universities have in place to train and professionalize the teaching staff to use digital technologies in the teaching and learning process? * How are the EU Integration curricula designed to implement the Digital Competence Framework 2.0? * How are EU Integration courses taught across disciplines? How are digital technologies embedded to cultivate critical thinking and digital instruments for civic participation in an era of fake news? * What innovative pedagogies are used in the teaching process? What tools are associated with providing students with the skills necessary for the labour market?
