Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica
The initiative in editing a Romanian version of Thomas Aquinas’ Summa Theologica belonged to Polirom Publishing House in 2006. Assembling a large team of philosophers, theologians and philologists, The Centre for Ancient and Medieval Philosophy took responsibility for the editing of the first three volumes of this work: volume I (responsible for Ia pars: Alexander Baumgarten), volume II (responsible for Ia IIae: Andrei Bereschi), volume III (responsible for IIa IIae: Alexander Baumgarten). Volume IV (IIIa pars and Supplementum) was coordinated by Wilhelm Tauwinkl from University of Bucharest, The faculty of Roman-Catholic Theology. Only the first and the third volumes are published, the others are being prepared.
