Chôra is a scholarly multilingual journal (English, French, Italian, German) dedicated to the researches in the field of philosophy of Byzantine and Latin Antiquity and Middle Ages.

The journal was founded in 2003 by Anca Vasiliu, Alexander Baumgarten and Bogdan Tataru-Cazaban. The founding directors are assisted by an editorial committee and an international scientific committee.

Currently directer by Anca Vasiliu, the journal has received the scientific recognition of the Institut des Sciences Humaines et Sociales from CNRS and enjoys its support for the publication.

Chôra publishes, after a selection by the scientific committee, articles, critical editions, codicological notes and reviews.

Three university research centers are involved in the publication of the journal:
 Léon Robin Research Center on the Ancient Thought of CNRS and of Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV)
 Center for Ancient and Medieval Philosophy at the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca
 Institute of History of Religions at the Romanian Academy of Bucharest.

Chôra review is published by the Polirom publishing house. It is sold in bookstores in Romania and distributed in France by Librairie philosophique J. Vrin who also assures the subscriptions. It can be ordered online on the website www.polirom.ro.
