Studies of Hungarian Genealogical Research

This viewpoint discusses the history of Hungarian genealogical preoccupations and research. The author mainly focuses on nineteenth and twentieth-century research developments, with regard to publications and historians devoted to the field. The main issue pursued is the relation between genealogy and social history and the historian's task to integrate genealogy as a tool of social history.
