To implement a more dynamic, modern and sustainable strategy for teaching security studies in Romanian universities, by developing and diversifying the curriculum according to the new European trends in international relations.

To promote excellence in teaching and researching on security studies at the Babes-Bolyai University, in an integrated maner, for MA students (Majors: Security management in contemporary society; Security, Intelligence and competitiveness in organizations; History, Memory, Orality in the Twentieth Century; Leadership and Communication in International Organisations) and students who do not automatically come into contact with European studies;

To improve its teaching offer by developping its multidisciplinary courses on security studies, creating national and international multidisciplinary networks and facilitating the exchange of good practices between students, professors, researchers, stakeholders and politicians.

To provide opportunities for students to develop a wide range of skills and competencies transferable to a variety of professions in the field of international relations. To this end, teaching activities will be structured according to the specific needs of the target group and tailored in such a way as to meet the relevant educational objectives and the relevant labour market needs.
