Project results for 2011 (October-November) consist of:
  • Team consolidation.
  • Sorting and gathering the bibliographic information.
  • Documentation in Romanian libraries (Cluj-Napoca, Bucuresti, Alba Iulia, Sibiu, Brasov).
  • Setting methodology.
  • Setting out standards of describing words in the lexicon. Examples:
    • a, ab, prep. cu Abl., de la: a solo, de la nivelul solului, din temelii (CIL III 990 = IDR III/5, 31; CIL III 1006 = IDR III/5, 72); de către: [i]n[ist]itutus ab (CIL III 7751 = ILS 7139 = IDR III/5, 94); de, din: a Carpis liberatus, eliberat din captivitatea carpilor (CIL III 1054 = IDR III/5, 171); fost: a milit(iis), cel care a indeplinit militiile ecvestre (CIL III 7804 = ILS 7148 = IDR III/5, 495)
    • amans, ntis, part. prez. de la amo, are; adj. iubitor: amantissimo (CIL III 1207 = IDR III/5, 483)
    • Augustalis, is, subst. m., augustal. In Dacia augustalii erau liberti bogati si influenti care, din cauza originii nelibere, nu puteau exercita magistraturi si nu puteau apartine ordinului decurionilor. De aceea faceau parte dintr-un ordin inferior, cel al augustalilor: August(alis) (IDR III/5, 127), Aug(ustalis) (IDR II, 50; CIL III 976 = IDR III/5,7) Aug(ustalis)? (IDR III/3, 1)
    • Augustus, i, subst.m., epitet asumat de Octavian, mostenitorul lui Cezar, iar apoi de toti imparatii; subliniaza componenta divina a persoanei imperiale; Aug(usti) (IDR II, 587; CIL III 7750 = IDR III/5,70), Aug(usto) (IDR II, 575; IDR II, 576; IDR II, 585)
    • Augustus, a, um, adj. sfant, favorizat de zei; cand este folosit ca epitet pentru o divinitate, aceasta devine protectoare a imparatului: Caelesti Aug(ustae) (CIL III 993 = ILS 3923 = IDR III/5, 41) Fortunae Aug(ustae) (IDR III/3, 7; CIL III 1006 = IDR III/5, 72; CIL III 1007 = IDR IIII/5, 73; CIL III 1008 = IDR IIII/5, 74)
  • Achievement of two chapters for gathering abbreviated structures and grammatical errors:
    1. Litterae singulares (e.g. P.S.S.P – pro salute sua posuit,-erunt; V.S.L – votum solvit,-erunt libenter);
    2. Grammatica quaedam (language peculiarities, spelling errors, Greek influences, hypercorrections) (e.g. pro se et suorum instead of pro se et suis (CIL III 1068 = IDR III/5, 190), vive instead of vivae (CIL III 1183 = IDR III/5, 480)).
