Seminar „What about Europe? (Re)thinking European education in a formal/non-formal way”
The seminar created a framework for sharing information on EU and exchange different practices of formal/non-formal means of education between a number of 27 high school teachers, university professors, students, qualified trainers, European academics/researchers, a member of the ARACIP Commission for evaluation of secondary school programmes.

Photovoice Thematic Seminar „Objective Europe: Dream and Design EU”, Theoretical Part
The seminar is one of the major innovation elements of this project. Through this activity, the participants(students and secondary school teachers, students and professors from Babes-Bolyai University,volunteers) created a message for the general public clarifying the highly necessary development of the civic spirit among young people, concurrently with the increasing degree of awareness regarding the European citizenship, democracy, identity and diversity.
From over 500 photos, he most relevant 65 were selected and included in the volume The European Union of Youth: Integration, Citizenship and Diversity.

Work-shop Pilot project „A Different School”- „Students today- European Citizens tomorrow”
The pilot project is one of the major innovation elements of this project. The theme proposed Students today-European Citizens tomorrow aimed at introducing high school students in the European Union thematic using attractive methods to stimulate their imagination through creative workshops, contests and themed meetings.
The project was send to 17 partner schools from Transylvania in order to be implemented in the 2017-2018 school year and subsequent years and can be multiplied in other schools from Romanian, The Republic of Moldova and also in the Diaspora.

Debate Club „World of Youth” First meeting
The Debate club offered beneficiaries from the pre-university school the opportunity to familiarize themselves with important topics on EU,to raise certain issues in order to obtain answers from the academia and public institutions, or policy makers.The debate club gave students the chance to valorize their knowledge and imagination.
The general topic was Democracy,Citizenship,European integration and Diversity with special focus on the role and opportunities for young people in EU.
44 students benefited from this activity.Two civil society professional groups and public administration representatives were invited in each debate session, so as to offer competences that reinforce the contribution of institutions and civil society to social cohesion, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, gender equality and personal fulfillment.This non-formal teaching activity developed competences of critical thinking for the participants(high school students,researchers, students and volunteers).

Round Table Jean Monnet Teaching Lecture Series on European Studies - „Learning Europe@School: Education for European Citizenship, Democracy, Diversity and a World of Youth”
The three days seminar was dedicated to train the teachers to enhance the formal and non-formal skills required for teaching the optional course on EU and to use non-formal educational tools in order to make the teaching activity more attractive for the students. A transfer of know-how was made from the academics and young researchers to teachers. An active partnership was created between universities and high schools, students and teachers.
The teaching lectures meant to introduce the final products of this project: the textbook, the PhotoVoice volume and the companion website and to prepare the 27 teachers to teach the optional course on European Studies at the secondary school level.

Clossing session „(Re)Thinking EUROPE by Building the Future of EU”
During the closing session, the Jean Monnet team and the partners presented the final conclusions on the project activities, lessons learned and the results obtained (PhotoVoice volume, the textbook and the documentary). The students, professors, researchers, volunteers had the chance to share the experience from the project and to launch a debate on future joint activities and projects between the members of the network.
