Project Objectives:
  1. 1. The analysis of the traditional relations among philosophy, religion and ideology. Those three are discussed together, because, in the modern world, each of them wants to offer views on the world and on the way of living in accordance with the principles that arise from that view..
    Components:
    • 1.1. The analysis of the relations among religion-philosophy-ideology in the Romanian cultural discourse.
    • 1.2. The analysis of the relations among religion-philosophy-ideology in the European and American cultural discourses.
    • 1.3. The development of some models that would function in the educational system of relations among religion-philosophy-ideology
  2. 2. The analysis of the nowadays situation of the crisis that characterizes the philosophical education, as a complementary method of educating the young people.
    Components:
    • 2.1. The analysis of the situation of the Romanian philosophical higher educational system.
    • 2.2. The comparison of the Romanian philosophical system with representative models from the European educational system.
    • 2.3. The achievement of some synthesis of the researches that refers to the relation philosophy- religion- ideology and to philosophical educational system, in order to find solutions for the improvement of the status of the philosophy.
  3. 3. The offer of solutions in order to correct this lack of poise from the educational system through proposing solutions concerning the introduction of the philosophical education as optional discipline in all high schools in which it is totally missing as a discipline, respectively, through the analysis of some professional alternatives for the philosophy graduates that are not reabsorbed in the educational system.
    Components:
    • 3.1. The development of solutions regarding the improvement of the today's status of philosophy within the Romanian educational system.
    • 3.2. The dissemination outcomes; the evaluation of the impact of the program.
    • 3.3. The evaluation and the final report
Though this kind of diagnosis is present at international level (i.e. the UNESCO report of 2005) a complex analysis of the concrete situation in Romania is missing. There were, in the main university centers, conferences that emphasized the role and the place of the philosophy, but they didn't involve a complex coherent research, which would constitute also a basis for solutions.
