THE ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP AMONG PHILOSOPHY, RELIGION AND IDEOLOGY IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH STRATEGIES FOR OVERCOMING THE CRISIS OF PHILOSOPHY AND OF PROMOTING IT IN THE ROMANIAN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

Project Description:
Our research is oriented towards finding a status for philosophy from the crisis condition where it is found inside the educational system and in relation with social action and practical activity. In this respect, we depart from an analysis of the relations among philosophy, religion and ideology as three models of educational offer and orientation in the activity of knowledge, public action and life horizon. In the same time, our analysis proposes an investigation of the actual situation of philosophy inside the romanian and the european educational systems, in an attempt to establish a functional model that would eliminate the actual imbalance inside the Romanian system between the religious education and the educational offer centered upon a humanist option. We propose for philosophy a status of fundament for an open educational system towards cultivating values, knowing the reality, grounding the arguments, developing practicality and rationality in all human actions, for an educational system that would balance the fields of knowledge, of action and of living, situated beyond any kind of dogmatism. In this respect, the bibliographic analysis, the curricular research, the analysis of various documents, the interviews with personalities that are relevant both for their academic activity and for their decision power inside the philosophical educational system, all of them have the purpose of recovering the image of philosophy as formative discipline with a complementary approach to the other disciplines, but also as a basis for all the other approaches to knowledge and action.
